Moreover, kami can forge contracts with humans, ayakashi, or other kami, who then serve them as familiars.

They also wield weapons and tools imbued with aura, variously known as “relics,” “talismans,” or “sacred treasures.”

Some kami also act as lords, rallying and leading other transcended beings. These are known as ookami, and are greatly respected and worshipped.
